Glass & aluminium railings
Overview

Glass balustrades for balconies, stairs and terraces — framed or frameless, always in laminated safety glass.

A balustrade has one job that cannot be compromised: stop a person falling. Everything else — how thin it looks, how invisible the fixings are — comes second to that, and any supplier who talks about the look before the load is one to walk away from.

Glass balustrades are always laminated, never tempered alone. Tempered glass on its own disintegrates completely when it breaks, which would leave an open edge exactly where a barrier is needed. Laminated glass cracks but stays standing on its interlayer.

Frameless systems clamp the glass into a channel cast or bolted into the slab, so nothing interrupts the view — the most popular choice for sea-facing balconies in Batumi, for obvious reasons. Post systems are more economical and suit stairs and internal landings.

Key features

01

Laminated safety glass

Always laminated so the barrier stays standing even if a pane is broken.

02

Frameless base channel

Aluminium channel fixed to the slab, glass clamped inside — nothing above floor level but glass.

03

Adjustable during install

Glass is plumbed up in the channel after setting, so panels line up along the whole run.

04

Handrail options

Slot-on top rail, side-mounted rail, or no rail where the code permits.
