Salt air attacks coatings, gaskets and fixings continuously — a window chosen for an inland flat will not last the same number of years here. On the coast we specify a coastal-grade coating rather than a standard powder finish, gaskets that stay elastic under UV and salt, and stainless fixings wherever they are exposed. None of it is visible on installation day; all of it decides how the window looks in year five.
A building on the shoreline takes pressure an inland one never feels. That flows directly into glass thickness, the reinforcement in a large sash, and how a sliding threshold drains. Water that cannot get out eventually finds its way in.
Measuring is free anywhere in Batumi. Because production is in the same city, a change discovered on site does not mean waiting for a delivery from elsewhere.
