Everything about a window that you actually touch is hardware. The frame is what it is made of; the mechanism is what it feels like. A well-made frame with cheap gear will feel cheap, and it will be the gear that fails first.
We fit multi-point locking on opening sashes as standard: instead of one latch in the middle, several points engage around the whole perimeter, pulling the sash evenly into its seals. This is what makes a window both secure and airtight, and it is why a properly locked window is quieter than an unlocked one.
We also service what other companies installed. Doors that have dropped, handles that have gone stiff, tilt mechanisms that will not release — these are usually adjustment or a single worn part, not a new window.
